Who needs a couch?

WE DON’T. Everyone all together now. WE DON’T! Alright so heres the deal, my sister and I have been living that no couch life for almost a month now and to be honest it doesn’t feel like we have been missing much. First off, a brand new couch is a large chunk of change that I don’t have. Second, I’m too poor to even afford a second hand couch. So we did a totally hipster thing and made a couch.

Our whole apartment is finally coming together! We’ve worked hard to make it comfy and cozy but alas, still have only an air mattress in place of a couch. In order to spruce it up, we added a bunch of throw pillows, blankets, and a fitted sheet and Wa La a hipsters dream. A pseudo couch for the time being.

I am actually kind of in love with the set up of our living room. Our whole house looks like a mix of styles. Most of our furniture and decorations are second hand but somehow it all vibes together like some top notch feng shui. The air mattress is just the cherry on top of our thrift store apartment. It’s easy to move which is helpful when the two people who live here can’t even open a jar of pickles. Plus we always have a bed for a friend to crash on at the ready! When I come home from work I have no problem plopping down on my air mattress couch and it even looks cozy.
