Stinkin up the place

Have you ever gone on a campus tour, or a tour of an apartment and there was this distinct smell. Not necessarily bad but still kinda cringe worthy? It seems that nothing can cover up that smell. Picture this, you’ve just moved into your dorm/apartment when you realize you’re right next to the bathroom. Now you understand why Becky, your roommate, begged for the other bed. I’ve got a couple solutions for you that might just be able to save your poor nostrils from Becky’s midnight bathroom trip after she made a poor decision and had Taco Bell for dinner.

I personally love the Scentsy, a wax burning candle, I recently got one and it has to be my favorite purchase ever. All you have to do is buy the wax cubes and your’e set! Even though i’m a total klutz, i’ve only had to clean up spilt wax a couple of times… They normally plug into the wall or they’re battery operated, but either way, you pop one of those wax cubes in, and you could cover any smell, if you catch my drift. My favorite scent is the apple and cinnamon, but theres still plenty of other ones if you’re not a fan of your home smelling like Christmas year round.

Another one of my favorite things I use to cover unpleasant scents are the Aromatherapy stress relief candles and they literally fill a room. My mom has used these candles since I was a little kid and they have stuck with me. I actually have the entire set: body wash, lotion, anything stress relief I own. It is a Eucalyptus Spearmint smell, and it’s lovely. I own at least four of these candles at a time and since it’s such a subtle smell I leave them burning for hours at a time. There is not a day where my room doesn’t smell like a fresh bag of mint or like I mentioned, Christmas.

Happy smells!
