Top 5 things you need for your college apartment or dorm

As a now freshman in college who has lived at home her whole life up until this moment, life has been a breeze. I have my room, theres always food in the kitchen and I never have to travel far for some company. Making a huge leap, into a small two bedroom apartment in Fayetteville Arkansas, and having to decorate an entire living space is something i’ve never done! As i’ve been googling and trying to figure out what my sister and I need, nothing has been helpful. Who needs a Dictionary and Bed raisers? Not this freshman. However our parents and grandparents have been more than helpful.

Letting us know what we need to get our hands on before we go.

Having our own place means filling a living room, dining room and a kitchen! Name an eighteen and twenty one year old with that kind of cash… I’ll wait. Exactly none, so we put our thinking caps on and called our grandparents! They helped us get some lamps and shower curtains, little things we didn’t even realize we had in our current homes! We managed to get together a new wooden coffee table as well as dining room table. We didn’t stop there, my sister purchased the Bella Coffee maker , a cute little toaster oven and a perfect set of wine glasses.

Not for me of course.? Now a little more reassured that we are going to have a place that actually has stuff in it, I am beginning to think about what else I’d need, and boy do I have some big ideas. (shhhh..)
