Festival Necessities

At the start of my adult life, I did not think that festival necessities would be a worry. Shortly after attending my first festival, I realized I did not stand a chance! Luckily I had a friend who knew the ropes. The first thing I realized was how thirsty I was and how expensive water was! Everyone seemed to be rocking water packs of all colors and styles. These things cost an arm and a leg on normal festival sites just like the clothing. Once I had obtained a water pack it was like okay what’s next? CLOTHES! The endless online search for what was essentially a sparkly bathing suit seemed to be a bank breaker. That was until I found this amazing bodysuit for a respectable price.

Festival Necessities or accessories?

I attended EDC Orlando 2019 with my friends and a few weeks before leaving I realized I wanted all new outfits… Now we all know how hard it can be not to dive into the world of online shopping and spend money we don’t have. You can read more of this in my sister’s article that dives into that. Which was exactly what I did. My first stop was accessories and considering I had torn so many holes in my favorite fishnets… I needed a new pair. My selections of glitter were wearing thin and my old bedazzler was done for. Funky glasses are also a huge part of the festival scene and I had destroyed all of mine at previous festivals.

With all my accessories in the bag, I moved on to my outfits, one of the main festival necessities. Looking at all the bathing suits available for sale I was able to find some cute tops and bottoms. When attending music festivals the key is to be open-minded, you’ll see things you’ve never seen before. You just have to remember that’s cool. Basically all you need to survive a music festival is water, friends, cute clothes and once again, water.
