Swingin’ into my first year of college

I’m not gonna lie to you, moving half way across the country to go to a new school is just as terrifying as every movie has portrayed it as. Yet my sister and I couldn’t be more excited to decorate and organize everything, now of course we’ve learned that theres a lot more to it than we thought. Who thinks about buying toilet paper, laundry detergent, hell even a vacuum! Not us! We’ve come a long way on our packing process, loads of packing tape and throwing out things from 10 years ago we swore we’d use again. As our move out day gets closer, you can do what my sister does and spend your last days soaking up the sun on a beach chair in Hawaii or you can do what I do, online shop for ungodly hours buying things you are NEVER going to use.

Recently my sister and I have been looking for patio furniture because our apartment has a sweet little wrap around porch. We decided that we didn’t just want some lame chairs that no one would notice, so we decided to look into hammocks! Now i’m not just talking about the lay down never want to leave hammocks. My dad has one and when it isn’t 800 degrees its probably my favorite spot to be. I’m talkin’ about chair sittin’, free swingin’ comfy chair hammocks. What more could you ask for? Oh that’s right with all the space we have, and our seats hanging from the ceiling we still have room for more. My sisters got this thing for quirky rugs and let me tell you she is not putting that hideous orange rug anywhere near my hammock chairs! i prefer a more simple and CHEAP one that is of course blue.  Another thing we felt was a must was string lights! We have them all over our rooms and what better spot for them than outside? Anyways back to my online shopping I go!
