Adulting is Hard, I’ll Need Caffeine
Adulting is hard, and let’s face it, most of us don’t even know what adulting looks like until we move out of our parents house for school. Add this to the short list of items I consider a must have for college students. At least I don’t anyways. So I made a list, and do you want to know what was at the top of my Adulting list? A Keurig freakin’ coffee maker.
That’s right, my number one priority was having a nice warm cup of Joe to wake up every morning. Now if you are like me then you probably can’t afford the beautiful and wonderful Keurig 2.0 because you need breakfast with your coffee and $180 for a coffee maker definitely would break the bank. So if I wanted to have a cup of coffee on my patio overlooking Bentonville, Arkansas’ beautiful landscape, I would have to compromise.
So I a-went searchin’ and boy did I find a gem! This discounted single serve coffee maker was just as sleek and would look just as cute next to all of my Disney mugs. This “One Scoop One Cup Coffee Maker” is called the Bella BLA14436 on Amazon for a whopping $16.13 (at the time I wrote this). It has nothing but good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Now I completely understand the draw of being able to just drop a pod in your Keurig and have a fresh cup 30 seconds later, BUT what if you could just put regular ground coffee in a reusable pod and save money wouldn’t you take the latter? I mean think about all of those dolla’s just flying out the window. Who would have thought the cheap option would make the same delicious cup of coffee and save you money? All you have to do is get a bag of ground coffee (sure, I’ll buy a coffee called Death Wish) and you’re set for the next few weeks (depending on your caffeine addiction).
